Amateur Radio (m0psi)

Since a young age at my uncle's TV and radio repair shop, I have been somehow interested in 'things' electrical, and technical. I have since then worked in physics and electronics for many years. However, only recently did actually decide to take this interest into the realm of Amateur Radio and a full UK amateur licence (callsign m0psi).
I have set up a very modest station, with simple equipment that provide a lot of fun. Even though I understand how all this science and technology works, I still find it fascinating that I was able to connect directly (i.e. with no bouncing of any object) with someone exactly the opposite side of the world! and with less than 100W! amazing!
Take a look at my website dedicated to this hobby (www.m0psi.net).
